Join us for lunch at the Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce on April 6th!
The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Clause 252.204-7012 requires defense contractors and subcontractors to provide adequate security to safeguard covered defense information.
Jeff Orszak, Technology & Innovation Manager at CONNSTEP, will briefly discuss the requirement as well as NIST SP 800-171 “Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations,” which is the minimum set of security requirements.
During this free luncheon, he will describe a three-step approach to assessing information systems against the security requirements in NIST SP 800-171 and working toward the demonstration of compliance to the DFARS.
Ensure your applicable defense information is safeguarded and compliant.
Location: Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce, 333 Kennedy Drive, Suite R101, Torrington CT
