Mr. Parsons provides executive level leadership and coordination of all functional support activities needed to ensure the successful execution of AECOM’s contracts with the U.S. federal government. He also serves as the primary focal point with all U.S. federal government oversight activities.

Prior to his current appointment in February 2017, Mr. Parsons was the General Manager for AECOM’s U.S. $535 million Global Field Services strategic business unit, providing services in support of international development, contingency operations, and non-proliferation and security services.

He successfully led military and civilian organizations around the world. A former member of the US Army’s Senior Executive Service, and a retired Air Force Colonel, Mr. Parsons held several key staff positions at Headquarters, U.S. Air Force; the Air Force Secretariat; Headquarters, US Army Materiel Command; and with the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

He developed and drove contracting policies and processes for the acquisition of goods and services across the Department of Defense. In his last position with the Army, Mr. Parsons’s organization awarded nearly 20 percent of all Federal contract dollars.
