Marisol Herrera, MSM, CPP
Marisol Herrera is State Director with CT APEX. Marisol is part of a team of five Procurement Specialists committed to providing quality government contracting related assistance, education and training to clients throughout the state of Connecticut. Her goal is increase small and minority business utilization in the government procurement process and to do this, she collaborates cross functionally with strategic resource partners from federal, state and local municipalities as well as with federal prime contractors.
Marisol also serves as President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Bridgeport, CT (HCCGB). In this role, she and her HCCGB team, passionately advocates for Latino business communities. She is committed to providing minority businesses with tangible federal and private contracting opportunities. She holds a Master’s of Science in Management from Albertus Magnus College.

Allisa Young came to CT APEX as a Procurement Specialist with an extensive work history in a variety of industries. Her professional experience includes over 10 years in real estate, in addition to legal administration, public relations, telecommunications, solar energy, and marketing. She was also a co-owner of a small construction company in Southeastern Connecticut for several years. Allisa has a Certifications in Corporate Wellness Coaching & Wellness Coaching through Spencer Institute and attended Three Rivers Community College. Allisa was a member of ECAR (Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors) for 12 years, in addition to being affiliated with the Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce & Northeast Chamber of Commerce. Allisa is committed to being an asset to the economic growth of Connecticut based businesses, while ‘Perpetually Evolving’.

Procurement Specialist, Business Development Manager
Ishrat Nazmi has 10 plus years’ experience as a Supply Chain Professional in the Aerospace Industry (Pratt & Whitney) with Procurement of Goods and Services. In addition to holding positions; including Drafting Technician, Project Engineer, Procurement Analyst and a part owner of an IT Software Solution Company. Ishrat’ s diverse experiences not only enriched her understanding of Supply Chain, but also has given her an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship and various business models. Her experiences in Manufacturing and Sourcing of Aerospace, IT and Retail industries greatly contributes to the CT APEX team and its mission. Ishrat is passionate about working to improve the business growth in Connecticut through government contracting.

Procurement Specialist, Marketing Coordinator
Meredith Glasgow is a Nashville, Tennessee native who recently moved to New England. She studied at the University of Mississippi and graduated with her BS in Marketing. She also had the opportunity to study international business in Ireland. She has a diverse business background, including work as an account manager and has experience with customer service, team leadership, shipping/receiving, parts manufacturing, purchasing and procurement for government contracts, event organization, and budgeting. Through experience, she is well versed in office programs, data analysis, video conferencing, website development, professional administration, and possesses other software and hardware knowledge.

Andres David Calvache is a bilingual Ecuadorian native and recent CT resident. Andres’s 6-year career in procurement has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Andres has demonstrated a keen eye for identifying potential cost efficiencies and implementing innovative procurement strategies. His dedication to excellence and his proactive approach to problem-solving have set him apart as a reliable and resourceful professional. Jonathan Hart studied at Western Connecticut State University and graduated with his BBA in Management. He also holds an AAS in Intelligence Operations. He has a diverse background, including work as a procurement agent for a Food Manufacturer and has experience with sales, data entry, logistics, intelligence analysis, Foreign Relations, International business, and Apparatus Maintenance. He currently serves in the Army Reserves as a Sergeant and is a Volunteer Firefighter with the rank of Lieutenant. Jonathan will passionately advocates for Veteran and First Responder owned businesses.
