This database is managed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and it is used by contracting officers to find companies to fulfill contract opportunities. Contracting officers review businesses’ SBA profiles found within this database. Small businesses can also use this database to find other small businesses to work with. Some small businesses registered in SAM fail to complete their SBA profile because they are unaware of this important part of the SAM registration process, and as a result could be missing opportunities!
