I want to thank Frank first for the way he has put together a winning team at PTAC. I have watched and rewatched many of the video presentations webinars where I have taken away so much valuable information. It is fantastic that we have the opportunity to go back and watch the sponsored webinars by others and learn their perspective on government procurement.
My counselor, Valerie Marchand, is absolutely incredible! She evaluated the company’s strengths, weaknesses, and the directions we needed to go. Valerie has provided perfect guidance, pointing me in the right direction, teaching me the skills, making me do the work, and then reviewing it with me to make corrections, sometimes having me do the task 5 or 6 times to get it correct. Valerie’s style of teaching allows me to retain the information, along with my notes, and PTAC provided information to resolve my problem.
Since we started, I wanted to get in touch with (Electric Boat) EB’s Small Business Liaison Locator (SBLO). Valerie prepare me for the eventual conversation. I was also prepared for the emails I was sending. Because of my PTAC’s counselors’ efforts I received a call the next day, an email the same day, and EB’s SBLO and I spoke the following day. His usual time allowed for a company to give him a pitch is about five minutes long. Our conversation was over an hour. As Valerie had taught me, I spoke about my company, I quickly hit the bullet points and told him what AGCT-CORP could do for EB and himself. When I was finished with my presentation as Valerie had instructed me too, I told him we are also an SDVOSB if he needed it or not because we have always been a quality contractor first. He happily yelled, “Yes, yes!” He said, “That’s it, that’s it! that was the best presentation ever!’
