PURCHASING DIVERSITY DAY MEMBER MEETING

PPAC is partnering with SBA, CT APEX (formerly CTPTAC), and DAS to create Purchasing Diversity Day. The meeting begins with our business meeting and then a brief introduction of the various partners – SBA, CPAT and Meg Yetishefsky from DAS. Then the fun begins as our members will sit at a table and the small business community will come and ask, “How do I do business with your town”. Municipalities who purchase a booth will receive a formal booth with table, chairs, and signs. The venue has WiFi. If you have electronic vendor registration, bring your laptop and the small business community can register on site. Otherwise feel free to bring pamphlets or other items to assist in registering vendors for your projects. I would also recommend coming prepared to discuss any upcoming projects. If a municipality purchases a booth and wishes to have their owner rep assist them in registering vendors, they can register as a guest of the member.
